Our Installation Reviews

Roller Door Installation FAQs

Do your installed roller garage doors come with a warranty?

Yes, every garage door we install is covered by our comprehensive 5-year warranty. We believe in our product quality, so we stand behind it fully. If anything goes wrong due to a fault in the door or installation, we’ll fix it free of charge.

What does the installation service include?

Our full installation service is turnkey – meaning we take care of everything. It includes the initial survey and consultation, removal and disposal of your existing garage door, custom manufacturing of your new door, and professional installation by our team. We also include finishing trims, programming of remotes, and a demonstration of how to use the door. All electrical hookup of the door is handled too.

How long does it take to install a roller garage door?

The installation process on-site is usually completed within half a day for a standard single door. In many cases, our fitters can remove your old door and have the new roller door up and running in 3-4 hours. For larger double garages or more complex installs (for example, if we’re doing significant adjustments or building work), it might take a bit longer – but typically it’s done in one day.

Are your roller garage doors electric or manual?

All of our installed roller doors are electric automatic doors. They come with an integrated tubular motor inside the roll. We provide two handheld remote controls so you can open the door at the press of a button. The system also has controls on the internal box (and an optional wall-mounted switch if requested). In case of a power cut or emergency, every door is equipped with a manual override crank handle – this lets you wind the door up or down by hand from inside the garage. (For garages without alternative access, we can fit an external override as well.)

What maintenance is required for a roller garage door?

Very little. Our roller garage doors are designed to be low-maintenance. The aluminium slats and powder-coated finish won’t rust or need repainting. We recommend periodically wiping the door and tracks with a damp cloth to remove dust and ensuring the guide channels are kept clear of heavy debris. Perhaps once a year, you might spray a bit of silicone lubricant in the tracks and on moving parts – but do not use grease or oil, as that can attract grit. We’ll give you full care instructions on installation day. We also advise testing the safety reverse function occasionally (we’ll show you how). With basic care, your door will continue to run smoothly.
